Georeferencing of geodata products

The geoproducts available in digital form are georeferenced to the reference points of the official national survey.

Georeferencing was carried out with RTK using ground control points and/or the swipos positioning service in the LV95/LN02 reference frame.

Indoor georeferencing with RTK is not possible as no GPS signal is available. Nevertheless, the model of the object can be positioned using various reference points or be places in the official maps, ex. Swisstopo. The precision depends on the environmental variables.

Quality of the orthophoto (2D images)

One pixel of the orthophoto corresponds to one ground distance, which can vary depending on the altitude and accuracy of the flight.

The raster data enables two-dimensional measurements of the relative mass in the range of 0.5 to 5.0 cm.

The quality can be impaired in the peripheral areas of the orthophoto and in the case of sharp edges (roofs, walls, etc.). Gaps in coverage are interpolated in the image plane.

Point cloud

The point cloud is neither thinned out nor ‘cleaned’ of incorrect measurements.

Point scattering due to reflective smooth surfaces (windows, water surfaces, etc.) and sharp break lines are not removed. In the case of vegetation cover, the vegetation is measured instead of the ground.Filigree objects (thin rods and wires etc.) are only captured in fragments.The point cloud enables the extraction of terrain profiles and surface structures.

The quality of the extraction depends on the density of the points, the distribution of the points and the type of evaluation (manual or automatic).

The 3D point cloud of the geodata product enables the vectorisation of position and height. The accuracy may vary.

The geodata products are recorded and checked with the greatest possible care.

Gross errors can be excluded. However, differences in quality due to weather and system conditions are possible and are part of the characteristics of photogrammetric products.

Thermographic images

PrecsionFly Unlimited GmbH is not specialised in assessing the condition of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. The image material should be handed over to a specialist for assessment and definition of possible or necessary measures.

Use of the image material

PrecisionFly Unlimited GmbH is authorised, without objection to the contrary by the Customer, to use all image material with the Customer's name for marketing purposes and to publish it on its own website and on social media.

Cleaning

PrecisionFly Unlimited GmbH does not guarantee an increase in efficiency of the photovoltaic and thermal solar systems after cleaning. A possible increase in efficiency depends on various factors, e.g. age of the system, damage, type of soiling, and others.

PrecisioFly Unlimited GmbH works according to the best effort principle for the result of roof de-mossing and cleaning work on facades and photovoltaic and thermal solar systems. There is no guarantee that the treated surfaces will be clean. Re-treatment cannot be ruled out. The customer's expected result is not guaranteed in every case.

PrecisionFly Unlimited GmbH declines all responsibility for unforeseeable damage to the customer's property caused by the drone activity.
